Tasting notes

Aroma

A complex, evolving nose of yellow apple, acacia flowers, and wet limestone, deepened by a hint of toasted almond and spice from the new wood regimen.

Palate

Vibrant yet weightier than previous years. The 30% oak gives the mid-palate a "glossy" texture that coats the mouth, while the limestone soil keeps the finish electric, salty, and dry.

Product Description

We are the only website in America with this wine

Diego Morra is not just a winemaker; he is the "King of Monvigliero."

Morra is the largest single landowner in Monvigliero—the most famous, "Grand Cru" vineyard in Verduno. His single-vineyard Barolos from this site sell for $90+ and are hunted by collectors for their elegance.

This Chardonnay is the insider’s way to drink from that same legendary terroir for a fraction of the price. Grown in the signature limestone-marl of Verduno, the 2021 vintage marks a major evolution: Morra upgraded the elevage to include 30% oak aging (tonneaux). This adds a layer of "white Burgundy" texture—hazelnut, cream, and spice—to the razor-sharp, mineral acidity that makes Verduno famous.
