Sourced from 35-year-old organic vines on limestone soils near Montpeyroux, 'Les Ouvrées' is led by 50 percent Syrah, balanced with 35 percent old-vine Mourvèdre and 15 percent Grenache. Swept by cool night winds from the Larzac plateau, this high-altitude terroir yields dark, ripe Mediterranean fruit without heavy alcohol or flabby oak.
Vinified plot-by-plot with 50 percent whole clusters and wild yeasts, then aged for 22 months in concrete eggs and large neutral barrels, the 2020 vintage captures remarkable structural precision.
