Tasting notes
Aroma
Jumps from the glass with vibrant, seductive notes of white peach, crushed yellow apple, and wild honeycomb, framed by a striking hit of wet stone and white flowers.
Palate
Rich, waxy, and beautifully textured on the palate. A concentrated core of orchard fruit and lemon curd is perfectly lifted by the electric tension of the stainless steel aging. The finish is remarkably long, dry, and savory, leaving a persistent trace of crushed rocks and toasted almond that begs for roasted poultry or rich seafood.

Product Description
Thomas Farge's brilliant, old-vine Saint-Joseph Blanc
After cutting his teeth training under Northern Rhône royalty like Jean-Louis Chave, Thomas Farge returned to his family's century-old estate and immediately began pulling completely stunning, terroir-driven whites from the steep granite slopes of Saint-Joseph. He revolutionized the property, transitioning entirely to strict organic and biodynamic farming.
His 2019 "Grande Angle" Blanc is the ultimate proof of his talent. Crafted from old-vine Marsanne and Roussanne rooted in pure granite, Farge uses a brilliant aging regimen to maximize complexity: exactly 50% of the wine is aged on its fine lees in large 400-liter oak barrels for rich texture, while the other 50% rests in stainless steel to preserve its electric, mouthwatering snap. The result is a profoundly layered, mineral-driven white that drinks with the weight and prestige of a triple-digit Hermitage Blanc, making it one of the smartest value buys in the entire region.
